The NOIL is part wide range of oil mist filters from Coral designed to reduce harmful pollutants, whilst meeting local health & safety requirements. It is used in the extraction and filtration of oil mist, emulsions and oil fumes to recover and recycle to meet health, safety and economic production needs.
Its compact size along with an average 98% oil particle collection makes the NOIL ideal for many types of machine tool, turbines, compressors pumps and vegetable oil nebulisers.
Depending on the model a 0,75 to 1.5kW motor drives the internal impeller, to extract the oil mist, which is collected in the filter base and piped to a container of a central system. In cases of heavy use where smoke is present an additional Teflon coated cartridge can be fitted to enable filtered air to be equalised with room air quality.
The Coral OIL STOP is for applications where odour has to be removed or higher level of efficiency (99%) is required or multiple machines producing oil mist loadings greater than those handled by a single Coral NOIL. For handling odours this filter is equipped with CARBO activated carbon filters as an option.
To achieve the final clean air requirement, and maximum oil recovery, contaminated air & oil mist is drawn into the OIL STOP where it passes the first stage centrifugal separating chamber, comprising a helical spiral and screen. Due to the centrifugal force within the separator, the heavy mist impacts the helical insert and separates the air. The screen within the chamber prevents re-entrainment into the airflow, driving the mist particles to slide along the chamber walls and drop into the oil collection hopper. Oil is then available for collection and reuse. At this point, the majority of oil droplets in suspension have been separated leaving the air to pass through to the droplet separator.
Due to the simple and efficient three levels of filtration, all oil mist has been removed from the air stream. But to remove any possible remaining impurities such as micro mist and oil vapours the air is passed through a final high efficiency pleated pocket filter made of ultra-fine glass fibre filtering material with a high surface area for long life.
